A message from Prof. Vladimir Katić, Ph.D.
Ee 2021 Chairman and

President of the Serbian Power Electronics Society

Power electronics is one of the most propulsive branches of electrical engineering and Novi Sad is an active and peaceful city, a place where the only University campus in Serbia is located.

The 2021 21st Symposium on Power Electronics, widely known by its abbreviation Ee, is now in its late forties – it is 48 years from its first edition in Belgrade in 1973. Still, it is young, full of new ideas, but enriched with experience and tradition, an excellent meeting place for researchers, university professors, engineers, manufacturers, students, and other experts in the field of Power Electronics and surrounding areas.

The 21st symposium papers are coming from 247 authors & coauthors of 27 countries: Algiers, Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Italy, Montenegro, Nederland, North Macedonia, Paraguay, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, and the USA. All papers have passed through reviewing process by the International Program Committee and technical adjustment by the Secretariat. From 87 submitted, 71 (81%) have been accepted and will be presented in Key-Note, Invited, and Regular sessions. Also, two industrial sessions, three distinguished professor lectures, and two tutorials will be organized. All papers will be included in the IEEE Xplore digital library and Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar citation bases.

As parallel events, the XXI National Conference “Energetska elektronika” (in the Serbian language) and the annual Assembly of the Power Electronics Society of Serbia will be held, also.

Wide interest in power electronics and related topics (electric drives, electrical machines, microelectronics, measurement and control, simulation and modeling, power systems, power generation, and others) and high quality of accepted papers are guarantee that the 21st International Symposium will be successful, also, and will contribute to further development of this propulsive field.

                                                        I wish you a successful Ee2021 Conference.

Prof. Vladimir Katić, Ph.D.

Ee 2021 Chairman
